Backups from 1.5 should work on 1.5, but you can adapt your plugins to the new way. Here is a very simple plugin that uses the same outlet you use. It was adapted by the man @eviltrout himself. Commits · xfalcox/discourse-signatures · GitHub

Yes, connectors on the post stream and on the header are gone.
