אי דיוק באחוזים בסקרים!

Hi there!

We ran a poll in our forum for members to vote on the meetup topic, and I noticed that the percentage isn’t calculated correctly.

There are five options, and only three voted, but the percentages appear as ‘34%’, ‘33%’, ‘33%’, 0,0. Why does one option have 34% when it has just one voter like the other two options?

Here’s a screenshot:

I don’t know if we can reproduce this as it needs to be limited to one voter per option, but here’s the code:

[poll type="regular" results="always" public="true" name="lmis-poll-1" chartType="bar" dynamic="true"]
# **Which LMIS topic are you most interested in?**

* The batch/expiry Management Feature that will be Integrated in the RTS (Real Time Stock) app (Demo from Comoros implementation)
* Reviewing the newly published WHO NTD guidance and DHIS2 LMIS demo instances
* Workflow Integration with a central eLMIS
* Preview of the temperature monitoring integration, linked to the Cold Chain Equipment tool
* I will reply with my suggestion

I think the most likely reason this could be happening is that 100% cannot be divided by 3, and will give 33.333333333…%. So it has 2 33%s (66% altogether), and 34% as the last one.

Also yes, it is here on Meta too.

Thanks! Yes, I realize that but what if this was a competition poll and one had to be a winner (or a tie) but here instead of a tie, we’d have someone randomly selected as the winner.
