I want to nest my group links under ‘Groups’ as a collapsible parent item, so the sidebar shows just ‘Groups’ by default and expands to show Arch, Debian, Fedora, and "All Groups: at the end on click/hover instead of listing them all flat. Is there a plugin or theme component I can achieve this with?

Not possible atm, and I don’t believe there is theme component/plugin that does this.
There is Discourse Indented Subcategories, but those don’t collapse afaik.
If you really want it, you’ll have to make your own or post in Marketplace if you have a budget for it.
Thanks. So I just tried discourse-collapsed-sidebar-sections-by-default but it does not fire (nothing changes/no collapse). (tested as guest with incognito and logged in with test account).
