Profile Activity failing to load posts until refresh

Lately, sometimes when I click my avatar in the upper right to go to my Profile, my posts don’t load until I refresh the page.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Not following? Can you provide a screenshot?

It doesn’t happen everytime.
I’ll try turning off all my extensions and plugins and test some more, but what I’m often seeing is

Same thing with everything disabled. (I just now upgraded from 38.0.1 to 38.0.5)

I just noticed in the above that “All” went from 1069 to 1070 after the refresh

:confused: just now it was 1071 no posts to refreshed 1071 with posts

I can’t repro. So you are

  1. Clicking the avatar at top right, expanding the drop-down menu under the avatar

  2. Selecting Profile from said menu

… that’s it?

edit: LOL! I was able to repro in the process of doing that! Let me see.. so it’s about pulling up the profile multiple times.. or posting in a topic and then doing it.. @eviltrout you should have a look.

I’ve noticed only the past day or two.
Still a lot of commits happened but that might hopefully narrow things down.

I’m thinking maybe the “erase user card” fix?

Could also be about navigating via suggested topics in-between as @sam recently implied. @eviltrout you should definitely have a look at this since there is a solid repro.

Consistent repro (this is unrelated to the cleanup dom issue):

  1. go to front page
  2. click profile from drop down
  3. click back
  4. click profile from drop down
