Public Static pages and Private Forums - possible?

Hi - I want to install Discourse but I have not been able to figure out if it supports public static pages and private forums? Here is the layout I’m trying to make:

|_ Homepage (landingpage at www.)
|_ About
…|_General Info
…|_Contact Info
|_TOS
|_Privacy Policy
|_Forums

Except “forums”, everything should be entirely PUBLIC. But forum should be private – user must sign-up and be APPROVED by admin before user can post or browse.

Also, I’d like these pages to appear in navigation as well.

It’s not currently possible to show those default pages (like https://meta.discourse.org/about) publicly on a private site, but you can create new static pages with our page publishing feature and enable the show published pages login required setting so they’re available publicly.

Thanks. You meant “disable” the login required setting though, right?
