📅 Vraag: Details van evenementen opnemen bij opslaan in agenda

Hi everyone,

we regularly use the Events plugin in our community. When members save an event to their iOS or Google Calendar, only the title and time are currently added — but not the additional event details, such as the location, description, or links.

Question:
Is there any way (or could it be implemented) so that when exporting or saving an event to a calendar, the full event description and details (e.g. location, Zoom link, etc.) are automatically included in the calendar entry?

That would make it much easier for participants to have all relevant information at hand without needing to go back to the forum post.

I reported the Location field not being passed through as a bug here:

This is a brilliant new feature: However, I’ve noticed that the .ics and the Google Calendar downloads / sharing are not passing the new Location field through to the corresponding Location fields in the destination calendars. Here is the discussion history: That is a bug, let’s make sure there is a dedicated bug topic for it

I didn’t notice that the description isn’t being passed through either.

They are really critical for this, eh?

Dus voor ons zou de Zoom-link bijvoorbeeld erg belangrijk zijn.

Wat ook problematisch is: we hebben veel regelmatige evenementen. Na het evenement blijven de toezeggingen echter gewoon staan en moeten ze handmatig worden gereset.

Je kunt ook altijd maar individuele afspraken overzetten naar iOS of Google Agenda, maar niet permanent abonneren.

It is misleading with regular appointments if I click on the event in November in the calendar and want to register for it, I end up in October.
