A bug has been reported in the Discourse solved plugin where the quote of the solution does not expand if the post contains a poll. Stefan_Fairphone has provided a live demonstration of the issue and codinghorror has requested that the bug be reproduced in the current stable version (2.0). Stefan_Fairphone has confirmed that the issue exists in 2.0.1.
The bug causes the quote’s text to disappear and display “loading…” indefinitely. neil has partially fixed the issue, resolving the error and “Loading…” issue, but expanding the quote still does not render the poll correctly. neil suspects that the solved plugin does not provide a decorator, which the poll plugin needs. codinghorror has suggested that further work on the issue is not necessary at this time, and that simply resolving the error is sufficient.
Hello, we are using the solved plugin on our forum. If I mark a post that contains a poll as “solved” and then go up to the first post, I cannot expand the solution. It just stays at “loading…”:
Expanding the quote doesn’t render the poll correctly. I think it’s because the solved plugin doesn’t provide a decorator, which the poll plugin needs. I guess it needs to do it the same way that expanding replies handles it.
