Citeren zet lijsten niet correct over

:information_source: Overview

We should ensure that lists are preserved in quotes so that they accurately represent the original content.

:white_check_mark: Acceptance criteria

  • When quoting an ordered list, the numbers are displayed accurately in the quote so they appear exactly as they did in the original post.

    • For example, if the ordered list is quoted starting at 3., the quote will show 3. instead of resetting to 1..
  • When quoting lists with indentation, the numbers and bullets are displayed accurately in the quote so they appear with the same indentation that they had in the original post.

I am playing with this, it is surprisingly fiddly cause there are so many edge cases

OK fixed per:

But will take a while to merge, it is very complicated.

I’ve run into this a few times when trying to reference specific steps in a guide. For anyone else struggling with this right now, I’ve found that manually changing the number in the quote markdown (like 3. instead of 1.) works as a temporary fix, but it’ll be great when it just works automatically.
