Random Assign on Topic Creation?

I find it hard to believe that Discourse Automation cannot randomly assign a user from a group on topic creation in specific categories.

I worked with the support they seem to echo the same thing.

I went on to use the “Random Assign” script, and the Trigger can only be “Recurring/Point in Time.” I assumed may periodically, automation will assign a user to topics.

But then I see “Assigned Topic ID”. If there’s a single Topic ID I need to provide, I wonder what use case requires multiple people to be randomly be assigned to same topic in either Recurring/Point in Time?

두 가지 시나리오가 있습니다:

  2. 나와 아이가 번갈아 가며(순번으로) 다소 과다한 닌텐도 스위치 미디어 컬렉션을 가져오고 정리하는 경우 :sweat_smile: :video_game:

어떤 경우든, 해당 자동화 기능은 이러한 유형의 사용 사례를 지원합니다. 토픽 생성 시 무작위 지정 기능은 어떨까요? :thinking:

현재 이것이 불가능하다면, 이는 훌륭한 Contribute > Feature(기능 제안) 토픽이 될 것입니다. :+1:

언급하신 시나리오는 “사용 목적에 특화된” 반면, 새 토픽의 무작위 배정(더 나아가면 순환 배정)은 어떤 모더레이션 팀이든 유용하게 사용할 수 있는 기능처럼 보입니다.

Hey there !

I have a simple use case here: I want to automatically assign a random user of a group to each and every newly created topic on creation of the topic (discriminating by category would be a nice option as well).
