Thanks, I saw that and wondered why it would fail since Discourse control the environment via docker - didn’t think an old docker install would cause the issue (wonder if it’s possible for Discourse to check docker version before attempting updates?) The last one I fixed ended up being an issue with a broken index. I’m mostly on vacation until the first of the year. I am not likely to have free time until after the first. If it’s an emergency and you have a budget you can post in Marketplace or contact me directly.

Can you please share your docker version, OS version and kernel version? We have been getting a fair share of failures like this, but I’ve been unable to reproduce it in my droplets.

Docker version is 20.10.3 build 48d30b5, and the server is running CentOS 7, which doesn’t reach EOL until June next year but the kernel version (3.10.0-862.11.6.el7.x86_64) is one that doesn’t pass your checks as per this thread - though commenting the check out as per that thread has worked fine p…
