Would it seem suitable to support tag groups for choosing the columns of board?
A remaining question would be how to solve effective ordering of lists.
Another observation was, that “scoped” tags using a prefix like flow::, as seen in GitLab, can be added to the tag list, but it will only contain a single tag called “flow” after a reload of the setting page.
This might suggest some parsing rule removes the double colons, which are perfectly fine for Discourse itself. They also show up as columns, when no specific tags are selected.
