Removing the URL bar and bottom safari bar

AI-generated summary

jaihaze is seeking a solution to remove the URL bar and bottom Safari bar from their Discourse site, offering a budget of $2000 for the task. sam suggests using the budget to create a theme component for Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) instead, which could include a back button and support for iPhone X/Xs. angus points to a relevant discussion on meta.discourse.org about PWAs but notes that a global switch is being implemented. jaihaze is still seeking help to remove the bars, as the linked solution doesn’t seem feasible.

What would you like done?
My discourse to look like how it used to without the bar on the top and the bottom. I do not need the back button or the bar to show up. Apparently at one time this was a working feature but has since gone away. this is how I would like it to look.

When do you need it done?
ASAP

What is your budget, in $ USD that you can offer for this task?
2000

I think it is awesome you are offering money here, but a far better use of this money would be a theme component that makes PWA a bit better

We will take care of adding the global switch, but it would be nice if there was a nice PWA theme that added the back button and accounted for iPhone X / xs

If you still need help after the setting is implemented, let me know.

It doesn’t look like it could be done on their side, are you able to do it? I can’t stand the bars on top and bottom
