I am retiring my Teachable school soon and am thinking about alternatives. I wonder about hosting my courses on a Discourse site, using perhaps Adilo to host the videos.
I’m mostly interested in whether anyone here would have any strong warnings against doing this, such as because you tried it and regret it or because you know something about this use case that is likely to be embarrassing or deeply disappointing to students. Nothing leaps to my mind, but then I haven’t thought about it very long.
Before I walk too far down this path, does anyone have any comments, suggestions, warnings, or outright objections to this idea?
