Het lijkt een kleine bug te zijn bij het beantwoorden via e-mail, hier wordt het vorige bericht afgekapt, behalve het afzenderadres en de tijdstempel van discoursemail.
Can you share a screenshot that shows what you mean, or repro steps? Are you saying this is only happening on meta? Are you able to repro it on another site?

The repro steps to check this is just to reply by e-mail to the notification e-mail of a new post, when I did that earlier today here there was this footer:
Posted after my reply, but I logged in to edit that out manually. It may be from the formating from my e-mail sender is Tutao in Hannover. Not sure if other e-mail senders may not have that problem this is a minor issue don’t know if anyone else has experienced this. I can run test on my own site to see if this same thing occurs there.

Any chance you are using outlook and don’t have the -- signature separator in your email footers? This came up in another topic recently: PM replies by email seem to evade having their email signatures and full message history striped out - #9 by tobiaseigen
Not Outlook no, was Tuta Mail. Checking Proton Mail now with my site may take few minutes.
Edit: With my site this occurs only when replying from Tutao Mail, not Proton Mail.

Mijn test om rechtstreeks vanuit Gmail te reageren (één bericht hierboven) lijkt naar verwachting te zijn gelukt. Er staat geen overbodige inhoud van het e-mailbericht waarop ik heb geantwoord in mijn reactie.
Deze dingen zijn notoir moeilijk te troubleshooten omdat verschillende e-mailclients zich anders gedragen. Ik zou u willen aanraden om de -- handtekening toe te voegen in de e-mailclient waar u problemen mee ondervindt, om het voor uw eigen doeleinden in de kiem te smoren.
Bedankt, het lijkt erop dat het inschakelen van de handtekening voor het verzenden van e-mail dit zal corrigeren, hier is een controleantwoord met de handtekening van streepjes.
