Can we please get the old overlay back as on option for forums that don’t use other reactions? My forum uses likes only, and it was perfect to see the like count as a grouping right next to the heart. The pop up and scroll through just ruined the formatting and simplicity of it.

+2 for wanting an option to nest under the like button like the old experience for forums that only have Likes. This is a confusing user experience to have two different colored hearts inline with each other, we initially thought this was a bug.

+3 to this. Our forum only uses one reaction to like and the old view was far cleaner.

I would be in favor of adding just one section back because I agree it is a little confusing to have two sections like this, because if you think as a new user, which one is the actual like button? It’s easy for us to tell because we’ve used the software but new users might not know that.
However, I would like to see it retain the popup instead of the original grid which was limited to 200. I think the popup works good (even if there could be more features to add to it, like said legacy grid view)
Yes, you can all stop adding +1’s, we’re working on reverting it for sites that have reactions disabled.

I merged a change today that should restore this back to a single button for likes sites that are not using the Reactions plugin. The total likes will appear on the right side of the post again.
