Maybe I’d only be interested in a feature like this, but it would be definetely useful to have the ability to automatically restrict posting/viewing to certain groups/TL during certains hours or maybe days of week. The feature could also be brought to chat.
Once again, I don’t know if a lot of people would benefit from a feature like this and maybe there is already a way to do exactly what I want to, even though I didn’t find it yet.
If you have a group where open hours are important then maybe there is a need for this. All the instances of Discourse I use have international membership and closing discussions down for one timezone would seriously inhibit participation. Perhaps in a school environment restricting access over night when pupils should be sleeping. Or in countries which legislate against employees having to respond to company message outside of contracted work hours.
