This only seems to occur in very large topics with very long TOC

Seems DiscoTOC - automatic table of contents has become buggy recently.
Depending on viewing full screen or reduced screen in Chrome, see screenshots, the Contents and Timeline buttons will float from immediately under the timeline where I have always seen them to the bottom of the screen making the but unnoticeable.

Yes, I have that on a few specific topics on a few specific forums too, but somehow I am unable to actually create a situation that reproduces it.

Prior to the fix by @awesomerobot I only noticed when not in full screen. After the fix it was gone, until to day. I had not been in that very large topic for months, until today, after it was rejected in a migration/publishing to other platforms.
