Safari PWA zooming is buggy

I’m self hosting Discourse. Latest version, up to date, no third-party plugins. I have the PWA installed on my iPhone (iOS 26.5) and it is almost perfect. However, when I reply to a topic, the text area zooms in, the reply button scrolls out of view, and I have to rotate the phone to get the screen to redraw so I can see the reply button. Screen recording attached.

I installed the Meta PWA and the behavior does not exist there.

Is this a known issue?

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch PWA
  2. View existing topic (doesn’t happen creating a new topic)
  3. Tap in text area

The reply/trash can/upload buttons are not visible. Dismissing the keyboard leaves them zoomed out of sight. If I rotate the phone to landscape, let the screen redraw, and rotate back, the controls are restored.

Hmm. Looks like this had been fixed a few weeks ago

I think it is a regression. I rebuilt a couple of days ago. I will try again now, however. What version info do I need to provide to validate I’m on a (supposedly) fixed version?

After a rebuild, the problem still exists.
