Set category visibility to "logged in / signed in"

As the title says, I am trying to set some of the categories of our Discourse instance so that:

  • only users who are currently logged in can see/post in them.

Does the feature exist? So far I have only seen custom rules on user groups and a global “set Forums to private” option, and they fall short with respect to what I am trying to do.

You can set your category permission to ‘trust_level_0’, which should accomplish what you’re after? That would only let people who have an account be able to see|reply|create in that category.

Thanks, trust levels are still a bit cryptic to me. Will read more about that and thanks for the solution!
