Waarom suggereert het instellen van de topic timer op automatisch sluiten na het laatste bericht geen datums?

When I set a topic timer to auto-close topic, I am offered a convenient list of dates to choose from. Such a time saver!

However, when I set a timer to auto-close after last post, I am only prompted with a duration. E.g. if I want 30 days I have to type in 30 and select “minutes” and change to “days”. Can this be updated to work like auto-closing?

I’m not sure if we can make it work like auto-closing since auto-closing display a list of dates for specific points in time in the future. What would you like to see as default options for the “Auto-Close Topic After Last Post” timer?

That’s a good point. Perhaps this is more effort than it is worth. If it’s not too much of a lift, it would help to just have a few preset options to quickly click on, like..

1 day
3 days
7 days
14 days
30 days

then the same duration options below that, in case anyone wants to have it auto close a few minutes, hours, months or years after the last post. Others can pipe up if they use other durations regularly, but I find the ones above most useful.

Maybe something like the following?

A day after last reply
A week after last reply
Two weeks after last reply
A month after last reply
<custom selector>

FYI I asked for this before, also for the auto delete replies option. Back then I acquiesced and accepted the current UI. Now that I have been using it more I would like to see user friendly shortcuts as we are discussing.
