Seems like it was a bug, a bug fixed now:

Emojis are not rendered from oneboxed topics

I’ve noticed that when I reference a topic via permalink, the emojis in that quoted topic are not rendered in the preview and the resulting post. [discourse-emoji] I’m using the latest version (v2.0.0.beta3 +140).

So this might be moved to bug, solved?
