Solved Button Alignment Issue

The original poster, Don, reported an alignment issue with the “Solved” button on mobile devices when the post has a reply and the screen width is under 364px.

However, meghna was unable to reproduce the issue and noticed a difference in the button icon and label between their screenshot and Don’s screenshot.

Ondrej and JammyDodger confirmed that they experience a similar alignment issue under specific conditions.

Awesomerobot has a fix in the queue, addressing the issue caused by different text being displayed for normal users versus admins, which prevents the text from wrapping.

The fix is available in this pull request: https://github.com/discourse/discourse-solved/pull/177, and greejak12 found this update useful.

Hi Don,

I am unable to repro this issue on mobile view with same conditions that you described.

Are you on latest Discourse version? Also can you let me know the mobile model and browser you are seeing this on?

Hi Meghna,

Thank you for your response :slightly_smiling_face:

That is interesting  on your screenshot there is no label only the icon but the icon is also different. This happens on Meta.

This is the post I mentioned in the OP.

For me it happens when you are viewing a reply that has a solution after you press the … on the post.

I’ve got a fix in the queue here:

Things were appearing normally for admins, but we show different text for normal users. This prevents it from wrapping.
