Oh wait you paid for a dedicated IP. Scratch that. You should follow up with sparkpost could be the sending IP does not have enough of a track record yet. Experiencing the same issue. Mail-test gives me 10 of 10 but still no luck landing emails to @aol, @msn, @hotmail accounts. I have the free plan with sparkpost + I paid for a dedicated IP. This usually means the IP is burned. Mail delivery relies heavily on the reputation of the IP the mail is coming from.

Thanks @codinghorror (long time no see, would love to catch up sometime soon). I’ll try a few other providers with dedicated IPs and report back if I have any luck!

Now in hotmail, live, outlook, the email is not classified as spam, just not gmail.

Do some research. As I already told you, those are all one provider, and that provider is notorious for blocking emails.
