With staff tags now being part of the tag groups settings: Is it possible to activate staff tags globally as of now without restricting categories on tag groups and having to activate the staff tag group in every single category seperately ?

No there isn’t. Maybe we need an option to have a tag group apply to all categories.
I would surely appreciate that.
Thinking on it, a more nuanced way to apply allowed tag groups to categories would help too. As it seems now I disallow every tag that is not in the applied (staff) tag group and that includes tag creation on topics.
