Stop spam content from new users

Hi Team,

It’s a learning curve question.

Last day one user signed-up, logged in and posted Spam content in the community. It got posted and notifications were generated as well.

Q1: what would be the best options to choose OOTB so system catches hold of it before publishing?
Q2: What is the general advice given on the default or custom options on using ‘review’ options for users posts? be it L0,L1,L2,L3…

If there is a document i can refer please share.

Have you tried the Askimet plugin? I never have issues with spam. Discourse has the most effective spam prevention methods that I’ve ever seen in any forum system.

Have you changed any of the defaults concerning trust levels?
