In my forum, I link to a lot of Vimeo videos that are private links. They look something like this:
The first string of digits 
is the video’s URL.
https://vimeo.com/487253324/gfe4c72075
The second string of digits is the private link 
.
To properly embed videos, we paste that url into the topic post. And life is good. Until recently…
Recently, something strange happens when we attempt to edit the original post with the link. Without touching the link at all, it automatically shortens itself to something like this:
https://vimeo.com/487253324
Since the Vimeo video is private, this change makes it unviewable.
Why does it do that? Is there a way to stop this behavior?
