Just signed up to Discourse and created a brand new account but it hangs with ‘Almost there…shouldn’t take much longer now.’ This error is reported at this Discourse post which is now closed. It advises using a different browser. I have tried Firefox and Microsoft Edge but the same error (ended up having to create two slightly different names for my planned Discourse community).

Hmm… I can repro this too. No errors in DevTools.

Sorry about that, we are having technical issues with new site signups. We are working on a fix.
