Tab focus changed?

AI-generated summary

A change in tab focus has been reported by Heather_Dudley, where hitting the tab key in the post composer now jumps to the preview window and link instead of the creation button when a link is included. This change was recently introduced in this commit as noted by Don. awesomerobot agrees that tabbing should ignore the preview for accessibility reasons. The change has been reverted for now, as confirmed by awesomerobot, to restore the original tabbing behavior.

This may be a bug, but I’m gonna post it here here first in case it’s just a change that I missed. In the past, when I composed a post, I’d hit tab to jump to the creation button and hit enter to post. However, I’m noticing that if I include a link (included here for testing purposes, no need to click) in the composer, tabbing jumps over to the preview window and whatever link that is.

I don’t think it’s done this before. I do it so much it’s muscle memory at this point, but I make a LOT of posts with links in them, I’d have noticed before now. Is this intended?

Thanks, I hate it! lol  Not a bug then.

Ah I think tabbing should possibly ignore the preview entirely, tabbing over there might be confusing for accessibility reasons as well… thanks for reporting it.

Quick FYI that this change was reverted until I can solve the preview issue, so if you update your site you’ll be back to correct tabbing.
