Sommige vragen gingen over Meta, maar de hele tijd was de gebruikte term de Discourse community. Dat was af en toe een beetje verwarrend.
Bedankt voor het zo snel invullen van de enquĂȘte! We nodigen ook mensen uit die nog niet op meta zitten om de enquĂȘte in te vullen en die het misschien verwarrend vinden om verwijzingen naar meta te zien. Daarom hebben we het in de eerste zin van de introductie gedefinieerd en daarna gedurende de hele enquĂȘte verwezen naar âDiscourse communityâ.
De enige vraag die me een beetje in verwarring bracht, ging over de plek waar ik als eerste terechtkan voor hulp met Discourse. Ik neem aan dat daarmee bedoeld werd, afgezien van Meta?
Yes, the survey is about the Discourse Community (meta) so we thought the framing as âWhere else do you presently go to get help and learn about Discourse?â was clear enough.

Very welcome survey, but I would have preferred giving my handle here rather than disclosing my email to a third party. 
Do I reply directly to the typeform notification email or is the team going to reach out separately for followup?
Thanks for pointing this out! I just noticed the embed not loading correctly for me this morning, so I changed the OP to include the intro text directly in the post with a link to typeform. That feels better to me anyway.
Thatâs a good point. Sorry about that! We created the survey so it can be answered by people who are not already members, so asking for the email address seemed the best idea. I updated this question as follows:

Either way! If you are inspired now after taking the survey and have more to say, you can reply immediately to the typeform notification and it will reach moderators here on the forum. Weâll also follow up with everyone who provides their email address over the coming weeks.
I was sad not to see a Mastodon or generic fediverse logo there at the bottom. I follow @Discourse@mastodon.social and especially with CDCK supporting the ActivityPub plugin I would have hoped to have seen it called out.
Included in my response was the fact that probably because I was an early adopter of the ActivityPub plugin on meta itself, there is something wrong in the database that causes federation not to work for me even though it works for other folks, so I canât see meta posts on my own Mastodon account. Angus couldnât replicate the problem on his own install, and doesnât have database access on meta to debug the problem, so as far as I can tell Iâm out of luck despite being an active promoter of Discourse on the fediverse.

Thanks for that comment! I was bummed that that option is not available as well in typeform. You canât even have html there. Iâre removed the buttons now and added text to suggest folks share the survey with their friends. We want to get as many people who are interested in Discourse to have a chance to give input.

I also submitted a support request to typeform to allow more control over which social sharing buttons are shown. I could upgrade and link to a page on our own website where we can show whatever we want, but that feels like overkill to me at this stage.

Some meta on the choice of typeform: It looked to me like it had good a11y with explicit text directing how to respond by keyboard. I didnât think to look for aria labels, but it was sure nice to see obviously intentional keyboard support at least. So thatâs a

Wat is Ă©Ă©n uitdaging met betrekking tot Discourse die u volgend jaar rond deze tijd zou willen oplossen?
Ik begrijp deze vraag niet, kunt u voorbeelden geven?
I assume the team will clarify further, but the way I read it, it would be stuff like âmigrate a community to Discourseâ, âgrow community by x%â, âimprove onboarding experience for new usersâ, etc.
Hey, itâs great that youâre asking for feedback. Some feedback however: it was a bit surprising to find a survey for a different community on our forum. Would it be possible to find a more appropriate way to distribute future ones? I expected to find new feature announcement of the Discourse software when clicking this notification, not to find surveys for the Discourse meta community.
Also, this notification seems to re-occur multiple times (twice in the past week). Could that be looked into?
