Is it possible to have some text appear (which comes from the moderator) which is added to the bottom of the first post in a thread, but not to a responses/replies to the post?

We would like to include at the bottom of the first post some information about our group, etc.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Well, technically you could close the topic, add a note to the action (click the edit icon) then open it. A bit messy, but it shows the message.
List/unlist also works.

Closest thing I can think of is a staff notice. Only thing is, is that it appears at the top instead of the bottom of a topic.
