The "click shade" on gmaps embeds is ๐Ÿ’ฏ

One more tiny, awesome detail of Discourse: Because gmaps embeds capture mousewheel events, thereโ€™s an invisible shade over the embed that you need to click to remove. Click or tap once, and itโ€™s usable. Donโ€™t click or tap, and you can scroll on by.

Yes, I can repro this on my MacBook (OS X 10.11.3) and iPad mini (iOS 9.3) Safari browser (works fine on iPhone 6 safari though). Added on my list. :pencil:

Chrome on iPad does some real strange stuff when you visit this topic, takes me direct to the google maps app

Thatโ€™s probably because of some behavior with the iframe, butโ€ฆ wow.

Did not do that for me on iPad Pro.

Only in Ipad chrome if google maps is also installed
