AI-generated summary

Users are experiencing an issue where the user registration activation email link displays “Oops! This page does not exist or is not a public page.” anoedo reports that activation links stop working after registration, despite the link being valid and not expired. pfaffman suggests checking invite limits and expiration, but anoedo confirms the link had not expired and was used only 15 times. unclejoker notes a similar issue when creating accounts simultaneously. anoedo later states the issue resolved itself after reverting website text changes, though the cause remains unclear. zogstrip requests more details to reproduce the issue, and anoedo confirms the problem is now resolved.

For the forum’s internal testing, I generated an invitation link and invited a group of internal users to join first. Everything worked fine during the day, but now, after users register, they can receive the activation confirmation email. However, when they click the activation link, it shows “Oops! This page does not exist or is not a public page.”

I tested it with different accounts and encountered the same issue.Since users cannot submit activation requests to the website, their accounts cannot proceed to the approval stage. How should I resolve this issue?

Invites had a number of times they can be used and a time limit. Have you checked those?

I have this problem too. When you log in to an account, if you create a new account at the same time, the activation email link not work

I just generated this invitation link yesterday. It can be used up to 100 times and won’t expire until January 2026. When the issue occurred last night, the link had only been used 15 times, so it wasn’t an expiration problem. I looked up similar issues in the community and reverted some of the website text I had modified yesterday back to its default state. I’m not sure which action exactly worked, but the activation link became accessible again. However, this issue is quite strange—it means I can’t casually make changes to my website text…

I’m not able to reproduce…

@anoedo & @unclejoker any chances you could share the following information

  • if you’ve changed any site settings that relates to login
  • clear steps to reproduce the issue

Thank you

Thank you! It seems I’ve already resolved this issue. The registration problems are no longer occurring now.
