One thing we do run into is new users from trusted sources being hamstrung by tl0 restrictions but that is easily solvable via SSO, and other simple techniques.

Depend on what are you trusted sources. If you have one instance where access is restricted, for example, to:

• Company email domain
• Patreon fans
• Discord guild members

You may as well set new members to start at TL1.

thanks! also i see i can just manually set trust level on individual users which I think will be what i need.
