I searched the history, didn’t find anything recent.
If I missed something, that’s on me.
Short version- a manual discourse update and server reboot resolved the issue.
I had users report expiration of security certificate and unable to login to the site- which I could personally validate from my phone app as well as a browser.
I chose to follow the manual update instructions, which changed the error to 502 bad gateway, so I rebooted the host and all was well.
For anyone who can shed light on this, I’ve been running discourse for 3+(?) years and never seen this issue.
I normally update regularly from the admin panel on the phone app, and had not as the IOS 26 rendering bug has caused me enough issues without fat fingering an update and accidentally nuking my site.
Anyone with insight, I am really just looking to learn.
