Just discovered a new action in the “topic admin actions” behind the wrench icon button: “Reset Bump Date”. As I have no idea what this means, I got the idea that having a tooltip appear when hovering those actions would be nice. “This … to …”.

In forum parlance, bumping a thread means moving it to the top of that particular board, or in Discourse parlance, the top of the recent list. The bump date refers to the time that the post was last bumped, or rather, when it was last pushed to the top of the list/board.
Resetting that effectively puts it back in chronological order according to when the thread was originally created, rather than when the last reply was hit.
On another note: Wouldn’t adding tooltips that explain what each button in the wrench menu does mean that we’d also need localization/internationalization for each tooltip? Seems kinda crazy in terms of costs.

Well, we already do this in a bunch of places, so it’s no bigger cost than anything else.

Just added tooltips to the admin menu 
Was only going to add it for “instant” actions but I think this is better for consistency as @nicatronTg pointed out. Feedback on the locales is welcome!

Acredito que isso não deva ser mesclado @sam. É muita cópia extra que precisa ser traduzida, e a maior parte dela agrega pouco valor em relação às palavras já existentes… essas dicas de ferramenta dificilmente serão vistas e quase não acrescentam nada. Meu voto é que isso seja revertido.

- O que “arquivar” faz? Passe o mouse sobre “arquivar” para descobrir
- O que “resetar a subida” faz?
- O que “não listar” faz?
Acho que o erro aqui foi que a mudança foi muito abrangente.
Quanto a mim, estou na lua de mel com o Discourse, sou um novo administrador e também procurei por esse recurso.
É verdade que essas dicas de ferramenta precisam ser traduzidas e que elas raramente serão vistas, mas não concordo que elas não agreguem muito valor.
Meu raciocínio é o seguinte: as ações de administrador de tópicos são coisas com consequências — você pode irritar usuários, fazer o conteúdo desaparecer, gerar notificações por e-mail. Sinto a necessidade de uma segurança extra antes de clicar nessas opções. Alguns desses conceitos são novos para mim.
Eu votaria (recomendaria? perguntaria?) que isso (ou algo semelhante) realmente fosse incluído no produto. Eu focaria o texto em uma lógica de “explicar as consequências, se houver, especialmente se forem irreversíveis ou impactarem outros; fornecer segurança para um administrador iniciante operando este menu”.
