What kinds of things are you referring to? Can you share a few examples?
There are no issues currently, I just noticed the recent updates are very frequent. I really like this community.
There’s often a bump in activity at the beginning of the year after short lull towards the end of the year when people often take time off.
We’ve got lots of things we want to improve, though, so in general we aim to keep delivering changes more or less continuously.
We often turn things on here first, so people who engaged can get a preview of our work in a real community.
When you see them on your own site depends on what how frequently you update your site, and what settings you turn on.

Great, I just moved over from XenForo, and Discourse feels very vibrant.
I was about to post something similar. I had a look at Commits · discourse/discourse · GitHub because, to me, it didn’t feel like there was that much more activity.
