Translate sidebar documentation links

Does the content localization work with Documentation Categories? It seems to me that sidebar content is not getting translated even though I localize the index topic.

Since category names, topic titles, and posts have been translated, ideally they should also be reflected in the sidebar section for documentation.

One unknown difficulty here is that the sidebar text does not match the category name or topic titles.

The links between “sidebar item” ↔ “link to topic” are defined in the category’s index:

So I suspect there may be some parsing going on in the index – looks non-trivial for now, but we’ll see!

Hello is there any news on that topic ?

I think the platform is really great and all the new features are awesome, but leaving a sidebar “untranslated” or “untranslatable” makes this part of my forum quite not fully “professional” - there is not even a way to have the sidebar manually translated based on the user’s language?

No, not yet.

There are various changes needed under the hood to support this as well that we’ve not yet prioritized for the docs plugin.
