Trouble logging in to (free) Discourse site

Hi all,

The last few days I’ve been having trouble accessing my Discourse site (free). Usually, if I’ve been logged out, I’m greeted with the usual sign-in page and the option to use Discourse ID. Now, I’m greeted by a login pop-up style input box (screenshot).

I’ve tried Safari, Chrome, and Chrome in Incognito mode. I’ve cleared cookies and browsing data, in case that was an issue.

Am I missing something basic? I’m able to login fine on the Discourse ID page.

Any help much appreciated!

Julie

Hey Julie,

Can you check your admin email address to see if you’ve got any content warnings? If you find one, there should be more details and next steps there.

Done. I haven’t gotten any messages, as far as I can tell. I also checked the spam folder on that email and didn’t spot anything.

Hi Julie,
Your access was restricted due to a recurring illegal content warning on the following post: https://terry.discourse.group/t/music-that-speaks-to-the-relationship-between-music-and-speaking/69/8.

The post contains links to ‘z-library.sk’ and ‘1lib.sk’, which are known pirate websites distributing copyrighted books illegally, and includes an attached PDF of the book ‘Trickster Makes This World’ obtained through these sources.

Please remove the post and keep an eye on your warnings to avoid it happening again.

Thanks.

Thank you for alerting me! We have two admins and I didn’t spot the warning on the post. The post has been deleted and my access has been restored.

Julie
