404 오류는 일반적으로 API 키가 잘못되었거나 올바르게 전달되지 않고 있음을 의미합니다.

실제로 잘못된 경로를 사용하고 있는 것이 아니라면요. 게시물을 위해 Discourse API를 역설계하면, 사용된 경로가 그 경로인가요?

API를 통해 주제에 답글을 작성하는 URL은 /posts.json이라고 생각합니다. 새 주제를 생성할 때와 달리, 답글을 생성할 때는 topic_id가 필수 파라미터입니다.
