Hi @swati_vishnoi Have you read this topic yet?
This guide explains how to set up Google login integration for your Discourse site by configuring OAuth2 credentials in the Google Cloud Console.
Required user level: Administrator
Overview
Google login allows users to sign in to your Discourse site using their Google accounts. This guide will walk you through:
Creating a Google Cloud project
Setting up OAuth consent
Configuring credentials
Enabling Google login in Discourse
Create a Google Cloud project
…
I think maybe your client id setting is incorrect or not set. Check that your google oauth2 settings are correctly setup.
In your Discourse site settings, check enable google oauth2 logins, and fill in your google oauth2 client id and google auth2 client secret provided earlier.
Hey,
Followed the steps but shows like this…
Can’t understand what went wrong… sorry not a techie…
Do you mean you followed step 6. and nothing appears? From your screenshot, it looks like you deleted the credentials.

Completed all the steps … got the credentials…
put them in discourse…still getting the error:
Just to cross-link this here as well:
Just to round this out, after some discussion via PM, it turns out that verifying the Google login needs either a TXT record or a <meta tag, and unfortunately neither of these methods are available on the Basic plan.
We’ve now updated our pricing page to reflect that Google Authentication is available from the Standard plan or higher.
Sorry for the miscommunication here.
