Unable to recieve sendgrid emails on your install

Installed using Digitalocean one-click-installer and have this in my app.yml file

DISCOURSE_SMTP_ADDRESS: smtp.sendgrid.net         # (mandatory)
DISCOURSE_SMTP_PORT: 587                        # (optional)
DISCOURSE_SMTP_USER_NAME: apikey      # (optional)
DISCOURSE_SMTP_PASSWORD: SD.YwEB7npoQuaVKSfdzdRHVQ.bunhPe-ALKSDMSDLFKSDFMSDLFKSMDFSDNt_DkcbGYSG.YwEB7SG.YwEB7npoQuaVKSfdzdRHVQ.bunhPe-DWCCYUO2PUSRo2hQRLUalUvEqrMNt_DkcbGY

(some of the APIkey was changed obvs for security).

Not recieving emails on sign up, am i missing something?

not super helpful there. I checked before posting this and couldnt find anything that would help

Sharing the steps you tried in the howto (and their results) would be useful. Jeff had no way of knowing that you already tried the howto, you didn’t mention anything about it above.

Sorry, didnt know there was a howto forum… anyway, got it working with sparkpost instead which worked fine, so must be an issue with either my smtp input or sendgrid
