Unable to switch accounts—Sign In automatically logs into the previous account

Hi everyone,

We built the website called FlowCaffe based on the Discourse platform.

I signed up using my Gmail account, which is the admin account.

To see how the site appears to a regular user, I signed out and created a second FlowCaffe account using my Yahoo email address, weird no password was generated. The new account worked correctly. However, I can no longer sign back into my admin account in Chrome.

Whenever I click “Sign In,” FlowCaffe automatically logs me into the regular Yahoo account without giving me the option to choose a different account or enter my Gmail credentials. Signing out and trying again does not resolve the problem.

Currently, the only workaround I have found is to quit Chrome and use Safari, where I can sign in with my Gmail administrator account.

Is there a way to switch accounts in the same browser?

Thank you!

FlowCaffe

I see. You’re using Discourse id as your authenticator, so you need to log out of that site to log in as a different user. I think I have seen another topic about this.

The easiest way is to impersonate the user by clicking the account on the admin user page.

So visit https://id.discourse.com/ and click the menu to log out there
