업데이트 "3.4.0.beta4" 실패

로그인하여 GUI 업데이트 버튼을 클릭하라는 통상적인 이메일을 받았습니다. 보통은 잘 작동하지만, 이번에는 아무 설명 없이 사이트 전체가 충돌했습니다.

웹사이트 GUI를 사용할 수 없었기 때문에 droplet에 SSH로 접속하여 /var/discourse 디렉터리로 이동한 후 재시작을 시도했지만, 시스템이 멈춥니다.

연결을 닫고 다시 SSH로 접속하여 director 디렉터리로 이동한 후 rebuild를 시도했지만, 이것도 멈춥니다.

비슷한 불만을 제기하는 다른 게시물들을 몇 개 보았지만, 해결책은 없습니다. 어떻게 해야 할까요?

현재 VM에 무슨 문제가 있나요?

제 추측으로는 수명(End of Life)이 끝났을 가능성이 큽니다.

새 VM을 생성하고 전환하는 과정은 다운타임이 전혀 없으며, 문제가 발생하면 기존 서버를 그대로 유지하면 됩니다. 다만 과정이 다소 복잡합니다.

구식 백업으로 전환할 수밖에 없었던 점에 대해 죄송합니다. 데이터 손실을 방지하기 위해 일일 백업으로 전환하고, 업데이트 전에 백업을 수행하는 것을 권장합니다.

업그레이드 전에 베타 또는 안정판 브랜치로 전환할 수 있습니다. 지원되는 추적 브랜치를 구성하여 Discourse 소프트웨어 업데이트를 받는 방법에 대해 읽어보실 수 있습니다.
