Update fab icons

how can update the fab icons in my discourse? I think have the old version and I want to update to the new one with new icons. How I can do that?

What do I need to do today?

Nothing at all ! Once Discourse is updated, you’ll have the new version of the icons.

Discourse will automatically remap old icon names to new icon names, and the old icons will all be replaced. This includes icons used in the interface by default as well as badges, group/user flair, sidebar items, and additional icons added by themes and plugins.

Yes but how can I put this in my sidebar also it’s possible put specific color for a link in my sidebar?

what do you mean in your sidebar? can you be more specific? do you mean the custom link sections? the links at the top?

Just add icons to the svg settings in admin site settings svg icon subset then pick it in the icon picker of the custom menu modal.
