Hi, I was wondering how can we update users group and trust level via API. I haven’t found anything in the docs. Much appreciated.

See How to reverse engineer the Discourse API

Wow… that was simple haha! Thank you! Just one more question, I am not able to change the name even via Discourse dashboard. Is that because the user was created via DiscourseConnect (SSO)?

Right. You must have have sso_overrides_name set (or some same like that).

yeah! “Overrides local full name with external site full name on every login, and prevent local changes. Applies to all authentication providers.” That was marked. Thank you Jay, much appreciated.
