Urgent: All calendar invites are now wrong. Your system has not accounted for time zone changes (PDT->PST, eg). 100s of discourse users

A whole bunch of event planning in October for November has been messed up and inaccurate for my Discourse’s members, because the November meetings are all off my one hour (for example a Discourse member in Germany trying to create a mtg for Nov 7, 8:30p CEST, but the meeting show incorrectly 1 hour off for PST in L.A.)

But this has happened again and again, maybe 8 different times (different event creations/maintenance/edits on the calendar) , and I as the admin have had to troubleshoot, and assure them once the clocks click over, the calendars should (:crossed_fingers:) show correctly

HUGE urgent issue

There is no such thing as Central European Summer Time on November 7.

remember to specify timezone=“Europe/Madrid” in your event bbcode
