don’t seem to play well with the existing auto-linking

I - Wikipedia,Robot(film)

Good Bye, Lenin! - Wikipedia!

Not sure if this is a known issue?

Yes it is known that paired underscores and other unusual (spec may even say illegal) chars will interfere. Simple fix: put the URL in brackets

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I,_Robot_(film)

<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I,_Robot_(film)>
