I am wanting to create an online place for members of a racing community to come to to learn from others. One part of the model is for members to contribute instructional videos on a variety of topics. Such videos would be posted on the community for purchase and whoever purchases the video can then view it. Is that possible here? I am trying to think of how it could work if at all.
I am new to Discourse and want to get something going pretty quickly. Any suggestions?
open a Youtube Channel and upload a bunch of Members Only videos? then share them on your Discourse?
That will save you a lot of storage and headache.
I’ve seen a Discourse community using a points system plugin where the topic creator can post content that requires spending points to view, such as racing videos, while the rest of the introduction in the topic remains unrestricted.
Do the content creators get paid? If so, things get more complicated, not just technically, but also legally.
