View API requests per user/API key

Hi team,

I am trying to make ad hoc requests against our Discourse API and I regularly run into rate limit errors. We have some integrations that use the API on a regular basis and I would like to monitor the requests. Is there a way to see the requests a specific user or API key is making against the API?

I don’t see a way to do it with the Logs tab of the admin dashboard.

Hi there!

Unfortunately there’s no way to currently see specific requests like that via the Discourse app. Since you’re a customer of ours we might be able to drill into the logs for you to see particular activity. It’s probably best for privacy reasons to email the support address at the top of your admin dashboard with the key you want looked into.
