Visibility of anonymous mode toggle/posting

Hello Discourse folks - I have been kicking the tires of the product for a little while now and I’m super impressed with the depth of features and options within Discourse.

One key observation I have is the mechanic of ‘Anonymous Mode’ - it’s a very powerful option within any community, but the implementation currently feels somewhat hidden. It’s a toggle within the top avatar menu, nowhere else - and therefore relatively tucked away.

I would propose that if folks want to engage anonymously that there should ideally be the option to do so within the compose panel, or making it clear you can switch to such a ‘mode’ within that space.

Following this train of thought - once IN anonymous mode, would it be more useful to have a global banner/indicator that allows switching back without having to find/explore that same tucked away toggle in the avatar menu - or at the very least having the toggle within the profile view itself?

Just some thoughts/observations from someone who is now trying to adjust some of the UI and visibility of this option for a project and thought this may be a useful space to raise this point for discussion/review.
